Luna Zorro Studio, in collaboration with Fueguita Studio, is hosting a two-part, beginner-friendly embroidery workshop at our studio in Finca La Azotea.
Rooted in intention and the fresh energy of a new year, this workshop is a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and come together in the studio. Through the rhythmic process of embroidery, participants will learn the basics of the craft while stitching symbols, words, or imagery that reflect where they’re headed; transforming a thrifted shirt into a personal piece you can wear and cherish forver.
This is an slow-paced, hands-on experience focused on intention and presence rather than perfection: learning a new skill, practicing creativity, and sharing time and space with others.
Dates & Times (both sessions required, both included in total price):
Friday, January 23 | 3:00–6:00 PM
Saturday, January 24 | 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
What we’ll do:
Create a simple vision board to clarify themes and symbols for the year
Learn 3–4 foundational embroidery stitches
Plan placement and composition directly on your shirt
Begin embroidering your wearable vision with guided support
No prior embroidery experience is needed. All materials are provided. Participants must attend both sessions to complete the workshop.
We are extremely proud that 1% of our annual sales is donated to the incredible organization Every Mother Counts, which seeks to ensure that childbirth is safe, respectful, and equitable for everyone, everywhere.
A further 1% supports Pro Eco Azuero, a nonprofit working to preserve biodiversity and promote sustainable land use in Panama through community-led conservation and reforestation efforts.
